“I look up to Mr. Eazi because he has a sharp mind. I look up to him a lot”.
Mr Eazi launched a project which he named the EMPAWA 100 project and promised to shoot music videos for 100 upcoming artistes who did good , J Derobie was among the few chosen for this project.

Narrating how he knew of the project and how he got selected, he explained that he was with a friend who also turns out to be an artiste when they both saw the advertisement, they both decided to apply and hope for the best.
“I was with my friend General Mike when we saw Mr Eazi’s project. After contemplating, we both decided to apply separately. Fortunately, I was picked and that was it.”
Touching on how he arrived at the masterpiece poverty which is making waves currently, the Nungua based artiste explained that initially he didn’t have a title for the song.
He said he started writing the song in June 2018 and couldn’t figure out an appropriate title for it till he settled on poverty since a lot of people were complaining about it.
“I started writing poverty from June 2018. I was writing it piece by piece till the title poverty came. People were complaining a lot that there was no money so I was like on the real, there is poverty. I named the song poverty.”
J Derobie highlighted on the meaning of the lyrics of the song, saying that this life is full of many misfortunes but he personally doesn’t want that for himself.
“In our lives, there are so many falls that come our way so I was like I don’t want to fall for poverty”.
In a reply to whether he would be able to perform in front of a big crowd should he get the opportunity to do so, he replied that he was ever ready to do so even though it would be the first time.
“I practiced a lot when I was underground, with practice I can stand in front of a crowd and perform”.

AMG Boss, Criss Waddle has ridiculously silenced a fan who tried to mock him for not owing a Bentley. It is an open secret that Criss Waddle is regarded as one of Ghana’s wealthiest musicians.
A Twitter user with the handle @abdulbakiabuba strangely thought it wise to mock Criss Waddle because he thought Waddle didn’t own a Bentley. The guy further went on to say that Wadldle will have to consult a Mallam before he is able to purchase one.

Waddle will however, have none of that as he silenced his critic by posting his Bentley ride and hilariously called him a “fool”.

Few days ago, management of highlife Artist Fameye came out to say that the artist is no longer under their label OGB Music.
According to Ogidi Brown, manager of the artist, Fameye became arrogant after his first hit ‘Nothing I Get’ and as a matter of fact the artist has even blocked him and taken the managements booking contact off his Instagram handle.
Today in an interview and responding to the allegation on Hitz fm Daybreak Hitz with Jay Foley, Fameye denied ever having problems with his management.
He stated that he’s cool with Ogidi Brown and so he doesn’t have any problem with him.
However entertainment pundit Mr Logic called in during the program, saying Fameye has problems with his management but is simply trying to cover up.
When asked again, Fameye admitted and said his manager is sabotaging him.
He revealed that he even had a nomination in the ongoing Ghana UK Awards but his manager rejected the offer that came through.
He added that a lot of shows have also come in but due to warnings that came from his manager he has not been able to play any of those shows.
According to Fameye his management doesn’t respond to him and he is even the one funding his new single “Mati”.
“We are in a WhatsApp group but if I write in the group they don’t respond to me” – he said
To Fameye everything that is happening with his management seems to be spiritual because he sometimes doesn’t understand what is really going on.
“Sometimes I see some headlines and I doubt where they came from. I will speak to him today and tomorrow he will grant another interview and paint me black” – he lamented.
